It’s a Wonderful Life– Christmas Warm Film Recommend
Life is the favor of god, so you should treasure it. And kind to others, maybe it could change one’s life unwittingly. It’s a Wonderful Life is the top one inspirational film till now, although it have obtained 5 nominate and did not win in Oscar, it give audiences deeply impressions.
As the peak of Frank Capra‘s works, It’s a Wonderful Life have extraordinary significance. It is end of world war II when the film was shown, so many people have been engrossed in their cruel memories, and could not face to the new life. This film have both describe the dark images of the war, and also show the hopes and faith people dream of the bright, it encouraged so many people. And this film also adopt some myth elements, arouse people’s hopes to the coming wonderful life.
But at that time, so many people did not realize Capra’s good intentions, even this film did not take back the costs. And in Oscar, it acquired 5 nomination, but finally it lose to William Wyler’s The Golden Age. With the years, many audiences surprised to this film which should not touch them at that time, and the professional Movie critic also began to survery this film once again, select it as the best film of Capra. AFI also list it as the top one inspirational film. Thankfully, this classic film obtain the belated recognition.
This is one film suit for everyman. if there is no tenacious will, no winning determination, it is just a life of one “loser”, but this life could make everyone know the wonderful of the life. George Bailey have a ambition of traveling round the world when him was young, when his father died, he give up his dream of traveling and opportunity of studing to continue his father’s welfare in the town. Later, as the change of financial industry, he even did not have the wedding trips. When he saw his friends and brother all achieving success, he even could not offering a warm and abundant life to his wife and children, he feel very sad.
And when he lose a round sum, he feel that is a insurmountable obstacles. But when he saw the life did not have him, everything changed, the life was more worse than current. At that time, he know nothing is important than himself. The wonderful life comes back, all his relatives and friends would like the help him, that is his rewards which he kind to others as he was young.
At the end of the film, George side with the christmas tree, and everything finished, but everything would continue, life is still keeping, and life is still wonderful! If you have never saw this film, maybe it is one perfect choices for you in this christmas.
